My messy table, beat this! [PIC]
I wonder why I love taking pictures of my messy desk and put it online. Perhaps I’m hoping there’s someone out there who will tell me theirs is messier…

I was chatting with a friend of mine the other day and he asked me what exactly does Tech65 do? I think that question really got me thinking. I mean, yea, we do podcasts and stuff, but if I were to put that down in specific words, what would it be?
After lots of thinking, I came down to this:
for gadgets and technology
to use that passion to help others.
With those 2 “missions” in mind, we create products. At this point it’s podcasts and shows. And that will not change any time soon, because in my 4 years doing this, it’s the first year that’s been so successful. So there you have it. That’s tech65.
Man, that reminded me of my principal showing off my school’s core values to us in some boring speech…
I’ve decided to use this wordpress blog once again. I mean, why not? WordPress is an awesome blogging service (I mean, even 65 Bits is powered by worpress), and besides, WordPress lets you post from your phone. So expect more stuff here! Catch ya soon,
Daniel

That is the top item on my wishlist now! *hint hint* Costs US$35 (About 50 to 60 SGD?), and is really awesome. It says it can even be used with the Universal Dock! I wonder if it means that I don’t use any adapter at all, or if I use the 5G adapter. Well, I’m going to claim that in His name! Amen!
This is an interesting article. http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=1412
AppleInsider says that there’s a chance that Apple might go into more than just computers and audio players. Hmm. I mean, with all that talk about the new Mac Mini DVR, sounds feasible to me. For all we know, the new Mac Mini might be that boom box. Well, all I hope is that it will work in Singapore. Apple!! Don’t forget us Singaporeans! We want iTunes too!!

Some guy managed to get Linux to boot on his Treo 650. Seems like everyone’s trying to get Linux into all the coolest gadgets around. I’m
Saw this how-to on Engadget.com just now.

Quite cool! I think I found more reasons to set up a Apache server in my own home. I got one in my mediacenter (Which I stopped using because of several problems) that used to let me control my mediacenter from anywhere. Kinda turns my tablet into one giant remote. I think this is really cool.
Konfabulator just got updated to version 3, and has been renamed the Yahoo Widgets Engine. Not much change on the surface other than added Yahoo-specific widgets. There are probably lots of internal enhancements though. Personally, I think Konfabulator sounds nicer, but that’s just me. Go update it if you haven’t!
Oh, and like any other Yahoo software, be careful when you install it, and make sure you take note and decide if you want to let Yahoo change your Internet settings to match Yahoo’s. Why can’t Google be the one who bought Konfabulator?

Apple Dashboard vs Yahoo Widgets vs Microsoft Gadgets. Who will win? We’ll find out in a year…
